February 1, 2025 Noon - 2:00 pm Bringing Realism to your Law Enforcement Story Tee O'Fallon Are you writing law enforcement characters? Do you need information on police procedure, interagency cooperation, professional and non-professional relationships, emotional toll of the job, or how about life outside 'the job'?
Many write about law enforcement, yet few have the opportunity to ask those deep questions that could round out a fictional character while firmly grounding that character in a realistic foundation. This presentation is designed to help writers understand the person hidden behind the stoic façade that is a law enforcement officer and give attendees a firm grasp on various police/federal procedures. A Q&A will follow, during which attendees can pitch a scene or an idea for a character and or plot and receive feedback. UPCOMING MEETINGS
